Enjoy cycling with a friend or significant other in a fun and unique way with Raleigh's Companion tandem! This cool ride delivers a double dose of comfort and fun thanks to its chromoly frame that's perfect for pavement and gravel trails, too. Plus, the Companion is as user-friendly as tandems come thanks to its comfortable upright riding positions, easy-pedaling 24-speed drivetrain and versatile 26-inch wheels with puncture-resistant Kenda tires. And with quality components throughout the Companion, the only thing you'll have to worry about is which route to take when the open road beckons.

Comments:

For the money, this is a great way to try tandeming. Solid construction, low low gearing; we've used it (with slicks) to tour, pulling a trailer. It never feels cheap or insubstantial. It's heavy, but I'll take that at this price. And, tandems really hold their value.
